Breathing Meditation with Kristin

Kristin will guide us through a Monument Breathing Meditation inspired by Wim Hof.

A certified yoga teacher with daily yoga/meditation/breathing practice. She loves to ponder on the big questions in life, to go deep, zoom in and zoom out. To swim in the cold, cold sea. To breathe in the forest. To hug good friends. To dance.

“I discovered the powerful breathing technique, this ancient pranayama breath retention that Wim Hof has made more easily accessible to the world, about four years ago and I can honestly say it was one of those life-changing tools that skyrocket you into living your best life. Breathing deeply accommodated by breath retention can be a portal to discovering who you truly are, underneath all of the layers of the conditioned self”.

Freedom Flow with Ingrid

Ingrid AA. previously joined us in 2021 and we are so happy that she is continuing this unifying journey with us.

“Deep in the beautiful forest – together let’s flow to express, connect and unify.

A vinyasa-based flow that is sequenced with smooth transitions from pose to pose – linking breath to movement. Move to music accompanied by one of the great DJs of the day to leave you with amazing energy.

Let’s make this year magic”

Yoga with Emelie

Emelie will guide us through Yin-inspired Yoga classes and we can’t wait to spend the afternoons together.

“Let’s do an afternoon check-in together!

In this Yin-inspired yoga class, we will work to get into contact with our current needs and our state of mind. Push the restart button and join an adventurous journey into ourselves – through ourselves!

With help from the physical body, in various positions, holding for 2-7 minutes, we tune in and prepare ourselves for the rest of the evening.”

SafeSpace

SafeSpace is a supportive space for guests undergoing challenging experiences that can result from substance use or over-stimulation. During the festival, the SafeSpace team will present two workshops for guests.

“We acknowledge that despite a clearly stated non-drug policy, attendees can still consume illicit substances. Some may experience adverse emotional and psychological reactions, for which harm reduction principles of compassion, safety, and psychological first-aid are applied to reduce negative consequences and de-escalate situations.”

A team of health professionals and volunteers will supervise SafeSpace and offer guests a space to rest, hydrate, and catch up with electrolytes, snacks, and other supplies to help them have a more comfortable experience.

On Saturday, the SafeSpace team will feature a conversation with psychedelic therapist Ingrid Autran, and Jørn Mjelva, writer for the Association for Safer Drug Policies. And at the same time on Sunday, the workshop will offer a space to share experiences, struggles and insights.
