Aaron Jen has established himself as an innovative figure in the North American techno scene as the mind behind the successful Sure Thing record label and event series hosted in various cities around the United States. Having invited numerous acclaimed artists, he is surely one of the most active ambassadors of our scene in the states.
As a performer, Aaron draws from years of experience as both a curator and dj, weaving together journeys through new sounds in techno and beyond. Even though the term “journey” has become somewhat of a cliche at this point, sometimes you do come across a set that carries the merit worthy of this description. Aaron J’s performance at the Izvir – Formaviva festival is an example of such a performance.
Therefore, we are honoured to have him on our lineup and are highly excited to hear what he will offer us in the Norwegian forest – especially since we have been waiting for this moment for two years.
