Thank you so much to everyone who has applied so far, we can’t wait to start creating Monument Festival 2022 with you! However, we are still looking for more kind and loving people to join our team. Why Should I Volunteer?
Our volunteers are an essential part of the team creating Monument Festival. By volunteering you get to see the festival from another angle, learn new skills, meet new people, and positively shape the experience of the festival-goers. You also get the following benefits:
- A free ticket.
- Free shuttle bus to the festival area on Thursday 4th of August.
- Access to the volunteer area to hang out and meet other volunteers.
- Food and coffee during shifts.
- A volunteer after-party if you help us restore the festival site to its natural form.
What Is Expected Of Me?
Each year we reach out to the wonderful people within our community to help us plan and execute Monument Festival. The support we received over the last two editions has been incredible, and unlike any previous year, we have added new long-term volunteer positions.
For our Short-Term Volunteers (Festival Volunteers) we ask that you are available for just a few days in August either before, during or after the festival. During these days, we ask you to be available for at least two shifts which will last 6 hours during the festival and up to 8 hours if before.
For our Long-Term Volunteers (Festival Leader Assistant, Team Leader and Site Manager roles) we ask that during the first few months you commit a few hours a week to help plan and manage the festival. These roles are great for those looking to gain more experience within the festival industry! Even though the long-term positions for this year’s festival are filled, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Martin if this sounds like a great way to create lifelong connections amongst our MNMT family in future editions of Monument Festival!
What Should I Expect?
Both roles have varying timescales, meaning that you could spend a few months or a few days helping us out! These roles allow you to be a part of something magical by letting you choose the amount of time you want to commit. Some are before in the lead up to the festival, others during to keep the vibes and positivity and some after to make sure the beautiful farm we call home is sustainable. You will also join a large community of people who love music and art just as much as you do, allowing you to make deeper connections with people you may have never met.
