Please Note: We will not handle any cash at the festival. There will be no vouchers this year and we will use an electronic payment system to accept internationally valid debit and credit card payments.

As an organisation that aims to remain sustainable, we acknowledge the importance of providing a small but locally sourced selection of healthy food and drink options. Our menu aims to fulfil a range of tastes and dietary needs without exceeding amounts of waste. To learn more about our partners and contributors, read below.

Food and Drink Partners

The Café will complement your early mornings and evening munchies in the festival area, and the new Chill-Out Area called Haven, serving waffles by Harald’s Vaffel and coffee by Tim Wendelboe. As well as non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and water to help you stay hydrated.

The festival area menu will also offer a selection of traditional Norwegian dishes from Veggli Vertshus and vegan and vegetarian alternatives from Roots & Culture. Both partners have previously been to Monument Festival and it is a pleasure to welcome them back.

Drink Policy

It is a part of our policy that no outside drinks are allowed into the festival. And beverages may only be purchased from our bar. This means they are restricted to the festival area only and no drinks are allowed in the camping area. To read about what other items are prohibited check out the information page here.

Bar

Our Bar is organised and operated by volunteers, who will serve a range of classic favourites – beers, wines, and other alcoholic beverages.

If you are interested in helping out the bar team in exchange for a free ticket and a good time, apply as a volunteer here.

We also understand that becoming plastic free will require some sacrifices and although our partners are doing the best they can to reduce waste, we are not yet in a position to go 100% plastic-free. Our chosen cups are 80-100% recycled but one way to avoid using so many cups at the festival is by bringing your own.

Please bring your own cup and water bottle 🙂

Haven

Thanks to our local partners, Villbrygg and XO Gingerbeer, the Chill-Out Area will offer fantastic non-alcoholic alternatives for those chilling at the camp.

Water, soft drinks such as Club Mate and Seicha Lime, and other chill-out essentials will also be available to purchase here.

Please Note: Alcoholic beverages will only be available from the Bar in the Festival Area.
